HELP- can't see folders, programs, etc

I thought all I was doing was selecting to see hidden in my C:\Documents and
Settings\owner file, but it took a while to do and now I can't even see my
Documents and Settings folder. I can search and find items still in this,
tho it doesn't give me an option to go to Owner or Other Users. Also, under
programs I only have emachines documentions instead of a list of all the
programs I actually have. I also only have a few icons on my desktop now.

Any idea what I did and how I can un-do it?
 
Hii, check if ur system and hidden files and folders are set to visible.
Explorer > tools > folder option > view.
