HELP!! Can't Join the domain

Charlie

I am trying to add a Windows 2000 server (terminal server)
to the domain (OS: Windows 2000 Server), and got a error
message as following:

Network Identification

The following error occurred attempting to join the
domain " MYSEVER": The credentials supplied conflict with
an exciting set of credentials.

Could anyone help? THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!

Then you already have a connection to the domain controller as another
username.

Is the case that your TS is already member of the domain but you want to
change computer names of it or something? In that case the easiest thing
is to log on to the TS as the same user as you use to add to the domain.

Or, is the case that you have connected to any shared directories or
something like that on the domain controller? In that case, disconnect
all such first and then try to add to the domain again. (Tip: "net use"
at the command prompt shows connections, "net use \\server /delete" or
"net use \\server\share /delete" deletes a connection.)
