Am trying to download "Simply Budgets" on XP. Requirements of program are
Windows 95 or above. Cant seem to do. following error message
C:\windows\system32\autoexec.nt. The system file is not suitable for running
MS.DOS and microsoft windows applications. choose "close" to terminate.
Any ideas????

The file you are trying to *INSTALL* (not download) is corrupt.

This shouldn't come up from simply downloading unless when you download you
selected run this file which would install from that location.

Currently, this is issue is caused by the "autoexec.nt" file in
C:\WINDOWS\system32 having been deleted by malware called "WinAdTools"
go to C:\WINDOWS\repair and copy autoexec.nt back into the system32 folder.

Even if the above wasn't the cause, it's likely the file is either deleted
or corrupt so use the above procedure to replace it.
