Help! Canon S400 blinking 6 orange 1 long green

Won't print, no other error code. I've taken out and re-installed the
cartridge but nothing. What's going on?
 
From the Canon website:

Six orange flashes: BJ cartridge (printhead) is not installed

Remove and reseat the cartridge (both BJ cartridges for the S450) correctly.
Make sure the orange protective cap and tape have been removed. Make sure
the blue locking lever is locked down securely.
