Hi,

Can I put windows 2000 Server on each workstation? We are
running windows 98 but I want to upgrade. Would a network
environment work properly if I install Windows 2000 Server
on each work station?

Thanks for your input!

Not sure why you would want to do that. First off there is no upgrade
between Win 98 and Win 2k Server. A format and reinstall is required. You
can upgrade to Win 2k Pro from Win 98.
The "server" version costs more that the workstation version. Some software,
antivirus for example, cost more for the server version.
You could do it but if you are paying more to buy the "server" version to
use on a workstation where you are not taking advantage of the extras that
comes with the server version, IMHO it is a waste of money.
