Help .CA defaults

I bought a new computer in canada. Now when I type in
something such as www.aol.com it sends me to www.aol.ca
How do I stop this. it annoys me beyond belief. If I
wanted to go to .ca address I would type it in. I thought
I had it fixed at one point but I just tried to go get
the new AIM and it sent me to .ca again.

Hi,

It might help to go to Tools, Internet Options, Languages, and put English
[United States] as the first one.
