HELP: BitDefender blocking all PDF acrobat files

I have searched all of the knowledge bases and can't find how to configure
BitDefender 8 pro to allow me to view or download Acrobat PDF files. Anyone
have any suggestions?

Unless the PDFs are password protected and the default setting is to block
files that can't be scanned, I don't see why BitDefender would be the
culprit. Perhaps Adobe Acrobat needs to be reinstalled?
