Since loading IE7 Beta3 the "INDEX" in the WinXP Help system does not respond
correctly.

When selected the window opens as usual, however the pane with what should
be the listing of topics is blank. The only thing visible is the RED X
placeholder.

The properties of the place holder state it is an UNKNOWN PROTOCOL.

Any suggestions

This is typical of what can happen when you install beta software. "Beta"
means the program is unfinished and still in the bug-checking phase. It is
unwise to run beta software on production machines or on any machine which
you are unwilling to wipe.

Post questions about this beta program in the newsgroup specifically set up
for it here:

Thanks .... figured that would be the answer. The problem is not critical. I
can still drill down thru the topics menu.

Just wondered if it might be another issue unrelated to the BETA risk factors.
