Help and Support does not work

Help?

I have found that Help and Support from Start menu does not work.
Neither does F1 at desktop.
I have not tried it since before updating to SP2 (and who knows what else).

I would appreciate any help.

Also, is there a "repair system files" available aside from rolling back?

If you've run Toni Arts Easy Cleaner on your XP installation, and allowed it to delete what it found in the registry, then your Help and Support will not run. Easy Cleaner deletes the values of 2 necessary Registry keys. See my web site, www.dougknox.com Win XP Utilities, Fix Win XP Help. Note: other Registry cleaning programs cause the same problem.

Well, I sure feel silly because I had the problem before and got the 3-fixwinxphelp.vbs at that time. So when this occurred this time I ran it. It didn't fix it. Now when I ran it it did.

Something funny happened, but it works now fine.

The EXE version is slightly different than the VBS file. Guess I need to go back and compare the two and update the VBS version.
