Help and Support center not working

Hello,

Does anyone know why the "Help and Support" center would
not start. I click on the icon under the start menu and
nothing appears to happen. I'm running Microsoft Windows
XP [Version 5.1.2600]. WINVER displays Version 5.1 (Build
2600.xpsp2.030422-1633: Service Pack 1).

If someone knows how I can fix this problem, I would
appreciate the help. Please email me directly as I don't
frequent these news groups.

Thanks.

After posting I then thought about doing a search. I
assumed the KB search I did that said to include newsgroup
articles would have picked up the same thing my search
did, but it didn't.

I found a previous message that directed me to use the vbs
script from http://dougknox.com and that worked for me.

Are you able to execute this command from RUN box?

C:\Windows\PCHEALTH\HELPCTR\Binaries\helpctr.exe

If the Help and Support Center opens successfully, the problem is only with the Start Menu link. Have a look at the URL provided by Will.

Keep in mind that Easy Cleaner has a fix for that for the next time.

In the options, add Help to the Skip List.
