HELP Address bar has disappeared on IE can not enter URL's

Don't know what I did but there is no place to enter a URL address.
The address tool bar is a line in the regular tool bar and I can not
move it to expand.

There should be a vertical line on the right of the Address bar, click and
drag the bar to the right to expand it. You might have to right click on a
tool bar and uncheck "Lock the toolbars."

If the toolbar is not there completely, right-click on a toolbar in IE and
make sure Address is checked by selecting it.

Problem was I did not know the tool bar was locked. Once
unlocked I was able to move it where I could see it.
