HELP! - Accidentally Applied Group Policy to Admin

B

Bill

I can't believe I did this. I created a restrictive
Group Policy at the domain level to keep my users in
check. I thought Administrators were exempt from Group
Policy and this seemed to be reinforced in various
dialogs as I was creating the policy. I now find that I
cannot access the MMC snap-ins for Active Directory Users
and Computers so that I can "unapply" this Policy to
Admin accounts. About the only tool avaialble to me is
the Registry Editor. Can someone please help me? Please
tell me this is not a complete disaster!
Thanks, Bill.

OK. Panic over. It seems I am not the only dangerous
idiot newbie to get his hands on a W2K server. I did
some further reading of posts here and found reference to
KB263166. All is well now and my blood pressure is
almost normal!
Cheers,
Bill

Thanks, Steve. Point taken. I will be more careful in
future. Thanks for not laughing at me.
Cheers,
Bill
