Helllp!!! My word has lost it's mind!!!

Hello,
I have the new office and its already showings its bugs

Whenever I attempt to enter a > a period shows up
Whenever I attempt to enter a ? a É shows up
Whenever I attempt to enter a / a é shows up

etc, etc...

anyone know what is going on? any help is greatly appreciated
 
Are you using a laptop? It sounds like either you have the wrong keyboard
language selected on your Fn key is locked on.
