held down the ctrl button too long and now have paragraph symbols

Now I have a bunch of paragraph symbols everywhere! How do I get rid of them??

HELP!
 
If you're using OL2007, open an email message and go to the Format Text
ribbon and click the Paragraph symbol to turn off Show Codes.
