Heidelberg scanner

Hi all,
Can anyone tell me if a Heidelberg 1400 scanner has a "term-power output capability". There is no reference to this in the original handbook. I am trying to interface this scanner via a Ratoc Firewire/SCSI adapter with an older iMac (17 inch flat screen half dome)which does not have SCSI input.

I think you'll have to contact the company directly for a specific inquiry like that - I've not heard of this scanner before, and google doesn't give many results on it.

I think the heidelberg might have been known in the UK under another model name, like Jade or Sapphire.
Does that help?

Apparently it's the same as the Umax Powerlook III and Saphir Ultra 2 - however I can't see if they have term-power output capability. Good luck in your search
