Headlines and Body copy and text tracking

Is there a way to track headlines and body copy like other desktop publishing
applications. I am a new powerePoint user and prefer the text to appear
tighter together.

Please help.

I'd amend that to " like desktop publishing applications."

PowerPoint's not one and lacks the degree of typographical control you'd expect
of a DTP app.

Which is the long way of getting around to ... nope, can't do that. Sorry.
