Heading columns and tool bar settings

Hi, I know how to filter files and everything.. I just want to know how to
save it.

An example: Everytime I open a window it shows in "large icons".. I don't
like it... I'd like to open automatically in "details" mode. The same happens
to the headings... when I open the picture's folder, the headings by default
are: Name / Date Taken / Tags / Size / Rating... I don't want any of this
info.. just need the Type and Date Created...

Yes, I know how to see it by clicking the right button and selecting, but if
I close and open again, the default comes back... I would like to customize
and save my headings the way I want without having to do this setting over
and over all the time.

Thanks in advance!

After making the changes are you saving them? Go to the toolbar or tap Alt
to display it | Tools | Folder Options | View tab | Apply to folders. You
have to do this for each folder template. There are at least five. To see
them in a user folder right click on the folder | Properties | Customize.
Click the down arrow under "Use this folder type as a template".

Open a folder for that uses each template, make the changes and Apply to all
folders.
