I have a problem with header's date on Excel 2000. On my
computer, the date that i have for the header is December
7, 2003. BTW, the date is typed manually. However, when
my boss open the excel document, the date on it is
November 7, 2003. We both use Excel 2000 and Window XP.
Does anybody know how to fix this problem? Any help would
be appreciate.

If the date is really typed in manually as "December 7, 2003", XL
would have no reason/ability to change it. Are you sure your boss
isn't opening an old file?

I'm very sure because we reboot the pc and the file is on
a floppy disk.

First, just a warning. It's very bad to open files directly from a floppy
disk. Better to copy them to your harddrive and open from there.

Then when you're done, copy back from harddrive and paste to the floppy.

(Use windows explorer to do the copy|pasting.)

A file can be easily corrupted when working directly from a floppy.

If you open the workbook on the floppy (after copy|pasting to the HD!), do you
see a difference?
