Header footer margin problem

We use right and left (custom) headers and footers that Excel places close
to the page edge. Our proposal requirements say we must fit inside a 1 inch
margin. How can we change how close to the edges the footers and headers
are placed with respect to the RIGHT and LEFT margins???

thanks

Can you pad with leading/trailing spaces.

Leading spaces is simple. But for trailing spaces, I put as many as I need,
then I put alt-0160 (using the numeric keypad) as the final "space". (Alt-0160
is the same as the non-breaking space in HTML stuff.)

We've done the space thing and results are mixed. The problem is increased
because the footer contains a disclaimer or about a dozen words that must be
wrapped.
thanks

Maybe you can use MSWord to print the headers/footers, then send the paper
through the printer for the actual excel report.
