Header delete

How do you delete legacy headers in an Excel doc. I perform View,
Header/Footer, but cannot find a way to delete old headers. Thanks

IIRC, there seems to be no way to do this ..
Do hang around awhile though, for insights from others ..

Are you sure it is an actual header and not just repeated rows. You can
check that by going to File Page Setup and checking the [Sheet] tab to see if
there are Rows to Repeat set up, and if so, just delete the entry. The
[Sheet] tab is in the same area as the Header/Footer settings, just a
different tab.

You cannot delete any of the default headers/footers that Excel has provided for
you.
