HDTV and media center

I have HDTV service, HDTV TV, and a Media Center PC.

1. Is there a way to record full resolution HDTV using the
Media Center?
- I assume that I will have to replace my video card
since it only supports composite video and S-video
inputs. Are there other Media Center compliant cards that
can handle this?
- This appears possible with the ATI cards but will it
still work under Media Center?

2. If I can solve #1 above, is there a way to play it back
on the HDTV? (HDTV requires DVI or component video)

a) Not that I know of.

b) I have no idea of whether they will work with the MediaCenter PC but

c) Try some of the hdtv newsgroups such as alt.tv.tech.hdtv and some of the
various online forums like www.dbstalk.com, www.dbsforums.com,
www.avsforum.com.

Whilst I'm very happy watching my HDTV, I'm waiting for the Dish Network 921
receiver to be released to actually record it. Remember you're looking at
having HUGE hard drives.
