HDMI, sound problem windows XP

Hi every body, I have a problem with my computer. When I connect it to my Philips Full HD TV, with my HDMI cable, I have the image, but the sound doesn't work.
I have a Asus X661C Nvidia GeForce GT 220M, windows XP
Do I have to install any driver ? because I already have the driver for my Nvivia card.

Is XP HDMI ready ??

The GeForce GT 220M is a relabelled, re-badged, nVidia con trick, GeForce 9600M GT for OEM laptop, I don't think it be HDMI

what do you mean ? sorry I don't understand. I have a HD Screen. The image is HD on my TV also.
