hdd partition - displayed as empty

A 32GB partition in one of my harddrives has apparently become corrupted.
It is displayed in Windows Explorer and Disk Management as being empty. The
remainder of the HDD appears to be ok. There are 4 partitions and only the
3rd one is faulty.

Is there any utility that I can run to recover the data?

Using Windows XP.
HDD is a Maxtor 7V250F0 250Gb SATA300 MaxLine III.

u can try SpinRite
