ihave taken the old hd out and installed the new one.gone
into bios and changed the bootup sequence to cdrom. saved
changes and rebooted the system with the cd in.on startup
it detects the new hd and goes into system
configuration,it does not show base mem/extended
mem/display type/serial ports/parallel ports.
it shows cpu type/co-processer/cpu clock/a: b: /pri-
master cdrom udma 33 /sec-master lba udma 33 the curser
flashes next to the 33. that is as far as i can get, key
board does not work after this. what am i doing wrong

Try a different keyboard.
Use a PS2 keyboard instead of USB.

Check _ALL_ of your connections. You may have bumped
something.
