HCT 12.1.01 Desktop System Kit - 64bit Windows XP - Modem Test

Has anyone been through the WHQL testing on a Windows XP 64bit desktop PC?
If so what modem did you use? I can't seem to find a modem that has 64bit
drivers. I've tried 3 different modems natively supported by XP 64bit and
none of them will pass. All 3 are Conexant based modems. I would appreciate
any information.

Thanks,

Modems are only required if implemented. HCT 12,1 is set up with modem
detection, so the test will only appear if a modem is present in teh test
system.

I was unsure too.
I asked and got an email answer that modems are not required in HCT
12.1(.01). vs. the older HCT which required the presence of a modem.

I think that's a good step, btw, because media online is usually done
via DSL or Cable, both of which come in as an Ethernet connection.

Kind of cryptic and hidden;
if the MB has a modem, or if you want one in the default config of your
system (well, why would you complicate testing with an additional
device), then the test will find it and test it.
