Having Outlook as default mail

How do I make Outlook 2003 as the default email program on Vista? I
downloaded Outlook 2003, checked it for default, but I can't find where to
"undefault" WM.

Go to Default Programs, either from the Start menu or in Control Panel.

Select set my default programs, wait for the list of programs to populate,
select MS Office Outlook and ensure that is all its defaults set.

Also select WM from the list and ensure that it does not retain default
status.
