Having 2 Inboxes

Jon

I have 2 different email accounts and want them to come into different
Inboxes in Outlook 2003. The email accounts have been set up but I only have
the one Inbox.

How do I create another and have the new email account putting its messages
into there?

Regards,

Jon

Hello Jon.
You can create a subfolder in your inbox (right click the inbox folder and
choose NEW FOLDER, name as you like) and then create a rule that moves any
message received through you second account to that new folder.
To create a rule in Outlook 2003 click on the TOOLS menu, open RULES AND
ALERTS and follow the instructions. If you can't do what you need with the
default RULES AND ALERTS window choose to build a rule from scrach (start
from an empty rule rather than from a template).
Hope this helps.

So is that the only way? I would not like to have to always remember to
click which account a new email is sent from when I create a new message or
reply to a message. I have 2 company identities and don't want to
accidentely send the wrong one!

I'd say you may be better off with two programs if it's that big an
issue. Use Outlook for one and OE or something else (Mozilla based is
always good) to manage the other. That one you can be as multiple
personality disordered as you want and not mess up and forget to send
from the account you meant to.
