I have XP Professional. Want to add Access, any version. I use Access 2003
at work and want to be able to do things at home. What's the
best/cheapest/easiest way to add Access? I just us the basics in computers,
nothing the least bit complicated. Not interested in trying to learn Vista.

Your version of Windows has little to do with what version of Access
you run.
The only way to add it that I know of is to purchase it. Either as a
part of Office or I'm pretty sure they still offer it separately.

As a note to add to what starrboy has said, with the release of Access 2007,
many of the large stores where you would normally buy MS Office or Access no
longer have Access 2003. I have found that some of the independent computer
stores still have some of the "older" versions of Windows, Office and even
Access.

If you cannot find it anywhere else, check Ebay, etc.

In either case, you should be able to find and purchase a copy of Access 2003.

Check your XP Pro CD. If it's Office Pro, as you imply, it already HAS
Access 2002. 2002 and 2003 use the same format database (actually they both
default to A2000 format) so if you don't do any 2003-specific things you
should be able to use 2002 at home and 2003 at work with no problems - and
you won't need to buy anything at all!

To add to what John said

You should have already (Access 2003). Don't bother with Access 2007 until
MS brings out the next "upgrade" - in another words one that millions of
people have tested for them. And should have less bugs.
