Sorry, but my other thread seemed dead, so I cannot save as/export access
queries anymore, I used to , last week_
_I really need the save as/export queries,
etc as text tab delimited and csv (comma delimited) I have uninstalled and
reinstalled , up to Office 97 SR 2. 3X I have even used the MS office 97
ersaer tool. Still no Luck. I am running under win xp Pro. I had to
reinstall because I had a problem with excel and access after installing
Scansoft PDF
converter. It messed Excel up real bad. Anyhow, can anyone help? A large
part of my job requeries using access 97 , doing queries and exporting them
as text files to our printing company. Why are they
listed in excel, but not access. I did a custom install of course and
checked everything. 3X
Thanks,

narrowed it down I believe to this:
C;\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\TextConv\msconv97.dll was
loaded, but the DllRegisterServer entry was not found.

The file cannot be registered

From info previously posted by John Nurick, Microsoft ACCESS MVP:

If the import/export wizards don't work at all, re-register ACCWIZ.DLL

If it's one or more file formats that aren't listed, re-register the
following files
msexcl40.dll (Excel)
msxbse40.dll (dBase)
mspdox40.dll (Paradox)
mstext40.dll (Text, CSV, tab-delimited))
In Access 97, the filenames contain 35 instead of 40.

To re-register a DLL file,

1) Locate it (usually all these are in the Windows\System32 or
WINNT\System32 folder.

2) Locate the file regsvr32.exe.

3) Drag the DLL file's icon onto the regsvr32.exe icon.

Ken,
Thanks, I could not find that post.. I reposted because I am on a dealine.
Before I came back here again, I found the answer at the MS site. Rename,
then re install ISAM files.MSKB article 171955. Which re registers them
also. I sure appreciate the help, as always, you people are great!
Thanks,
GRCC
