Have to click on User at Welcome Screen

Something just started happening. It use to be that when the Welcome
Screen came up with my user name I could start typing my password in
immediatelyin the password box.

Now there is no password box - I have to click on my user picture to
get the box where I can enter my password.

I must have done something I was unaware to change this.

How can I change this back?

That is not what I was trying to explain, sorry I was not clear.

When the computer booted the place to enter your password was
automatically there you just typed your password in.

Not you have to click on the user for the password box to appear.

I want to know how that changed and how to charge it back so I just
enter my password not have to click on the user icon first
