Have a problem with Wordpad

While using wordpad, I can access the font menue and select a different font
or font size but when I look into the wordpad window or look at a print-out
from the printer, the font and font size is always the default. Your
suggestions please.

I have to ask. Does the actual font change on the screen?
You say you selected a font, but if you did not select any text to use
that font the existing text in the default font will stay in the default
font.

Do a Ctrl-A then pick a font.
Does that work.
