Hello guys, well my problem is that Windows 2000 do not recognize my
Intel pro 100 connection, what happend is that I downloaded several
times the driver and do not work, I uninstalled and install the device,
from the "add/remove hardware" option over and over again and nothing,
my computer is a toshiba laptop.
here is the device failure detail: "This device is not working properly
because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)"
So, again guys, this is unusual to happend, but like I said before, I
installed the proper drivers for this device and is not working, what is
going on in my computer?, thanks.

PD: I believe that maybe I have to go to the System32 folder and do
something there, but I don't know if to delete perhaps drivers that are
installed and not working properly, but I need your comments guys
because I'm a new user and I don't know well how to work in the system
files of windows, thanks.

As GHalleck mentioned when replying to the second of your
four separate posts, your network adapter may be defective.
Take the machine to the place of purchase and have them
check it out.

Another option is to load a parallel instance of Win2000, e.g.
into c:\Parallel instead of c:\WinNT. If the adapter works in the
parallel installation then there is something wrong with your
main installation. Doing this will take you less than one hour,
and can be undone in less than one minute.
