I created a hardware independent image using Windows xp sp2. I have all the
drivers I need for the various model pcs we use. I set up sysprep.inf with
the OEMPnPDriversPath statement. However, during the install of the drivers
the plug and play wizard pops up, asking to install "Plug and Play Monitor"
drivers. The first pop up asks if xp can go to the internet, I say no, then
click on install reccomended drivers and it finds them. How can I get this
from popping up since it does find the drivers using the wizard?

Any help would be appreciated.

I created a hardware independent image for Windows 2000, and did
not run into this issue.

Try purging any OEM*.INF files from your C:\WINDOWS\INF directory.
Also, check your DevicePath key in the registry. Windows will have
trouble reading the driver paths if it > 2048 characters.

Ok, I will check it out. I have downloaded all the drivers again, and I am
going to try again.
