what is Hardware ID and does it change if you add new components to the
computer like cd drives,hard drives etc. and also does it change when you
reformat?
 
1. Sounds like you are referring to the Hardware hash code.
2. Yes, it does.

Google Hardware ID. One of the definitions is the ID of a component.
I'm not sure that's what you are talking about.
