Hardward mulfuncion errors after Upgrade

so I have 3 computers I just recently upgraded to XP pro
from 98 SE, one of them an upgrade, the others clean
installs.
now within a day of the upgrade, my users are reporting
Blue Screens:

Hardward Malfuncion
Call your hardware Vendor for Support
NMI: parity Check/memory Parity Error
The system has halted

we had added some extra RAM to the machine but that was
months ago and we've only had these errors after the XP
upgrade.
Any Ideas?
