My Anti-Virus software indicated that I have an Adware in C:Windows/Cursors.
It is hardac.dll. When I try to delete it I am prevented because it is being
used. Any help would be appreciated. I am all of a sudden receiving pop ups
when I am on the internet and I assume this might be the reason.

Reboot in safe mode and delete it from there.

for you:

This is a similiar file to the CNET.DLL file located under the cursors
folder and our software will detect and remove it.
