hard drive space

I recently installed a 4GB hard drive to only run my
windows XP OS. I found that Mcafee antivirus installed on
the same drive. I am now running out of space.
My question is how much space does it use with all
updates and mcafee home edition antivirus.

I don't think Mcafee uses much space. Easiest way to get some more free spce
is to compress seldom used directories. When you right click any folder and
select properties->advanced, there is compress option. Turn that on for some
folders.
