Hard Drive re-format?

I have 1 physical disk, 2 partitions with WinXP already up and runnung. I want to reformat, erase whatever info on disk. Afterwards I will re-install WinXP. How do I format hard drive

Hi,

Boot the WinXP CD, start a new installation. You can format the drive as
part of setup.

XP Disc will do it all for you; the longest part will be the reformat (i.e.
erase what's on the HD)... I believe the first question will be, 'Windows
has found a previous installation of XP etc etc'.. Despite what some think,
I think Microsofts XP is the best OS to come out of Redmond since 2000 v.
makes it easy for the consumer to do almost anything; including a
re-install... The only hassle is all the Service packs you have to
re-download.. Whew!

You only need to download the newest service pack as it contains all
previous service packs. At this point we are only at Service Pack 1, and
most systems have come with that already on the OS disk, except for the
early ones of course.
