Hard Drive Partitions Gone!? =(

Hello All,

I hope someone has answers to this odd and scary predicament. THis is new
to me. I have a 200gb Seagate SATA HD. I have it partitioned into 5
partitions. One partition for my C: OS, D: Software, E: Games, F: Storage, G:
Graveyard. Well I do this so if anything happens to my OS, I can reinstall
and all my other info is safe. After the reinstall of my OS, everything was
perfect, I had some issues with my G drive and access denied but I managed to
take ownership. Well I installed some updates etc last night and did some
restarts without any issues. I decided to do a disk check on G upon next boot
up. Well I just booted up this morning and only my C drive exists now!! All
my software which is installed on my D drive is now inaccessable as well as
all the others. I went to Computer Management and it shows the rest of my
partition as 175gb of FREE SPACE?!?!? =( Anyone has any ideas? There is no
way that the rest of my drive is formatted as I never touched it so I assume
it is still there but how do I get to it? Any help and expertise would be
greatly appreciated! Cheers to all.

No ideas? Do you think it is safe if I make the Free Space into one large
Extended Partition? I have never been faced with this before so I wonder if
I make the entire 177gb drive an extended partition if all my files on it
will still be there? If they are then I can partition them into logical
drives with partition magic etc. Please someone who knows keep me posted...my
nerves are fried here...lol. Cheers!

Cheers for that! When I try to run it however, it tells me "An application
has attempted to access the hard disk, which cannot be supported. THis may
cause the application to function incorrectly. Choose close to terminate this
application." I chose Ignore and it still closes. Do you get that as well? I
downloaded the 1.07B. Thanks again!

Can't help you with that item, unfortunately.

However the www.bootitng.com website does have some
newsgroups/discussion forums where you may get some help.
