After doing a Ghost reinstall of a winxp system I ended up not being
able to see the second Hard No drive letter drive showing. It shows in
the bios. When I look at it in Partition Magic it shows as a type 44
partition and no drive letter How do I get it back to a NTFS partition
with out losing data. There are no programs installed.

TIA

What does it say when you look at it in Disk Management?

(Right click on My Computer, select Manage, on the following screen, click
on Disk Management)

"DATA Partition- Basic- NTFS- Healthy (active)"

The c:/ drive shows as :

"System (C) Partition-Basic-NTFS Healthy (System "

The data drive has no drive letter and does not show up in the windows
exolorer.
Still looking for what a Type 44 partition is

Thanks for the comeback.
