I just replaced the MB, Processor and Memory in my PC
and everything went fine except that the drive letter
order change. Previously it was C:,D:,E:,F:, G:, and
then DVD-R drive. Now it is C:,D:,E:, DVD drive Then
F:, G:, and H:. I have forgotten how to change drive
order and letters. Can anyone advise me how to correct
this? Also, as the PC boots, the DVD drive is noted as
oddo etc. Any help willbe appreciated. I realize this
is probably a dumb question.

Assuming this is a Windows computer, go to computer management -- START |
Run | compmgmt.msc /s -- (there's also an entry in "All Programs" or
"Control Panel" but I've created a shortcut in a "Tools" folder to pull
together all system tools). Select Disk Management. Select the drive you
want to change and change the letter. If you want to change to a letter
already assigned, you'll have to change the other device first/

"oddo" I can't help you with ; )

Good Luck

I.e. a total of six drives.
Now it is C:,D:,E:, DVD drive Then F:, G:, and H:.

I.e. a total of seven drives. What does this suggest?
I have forgotten how to change drive order and letters.

This depends on your Operating System, not shown here.
(Some OSs e.g. WinXP show some functions (e.g. scanner)
as pseudodrives. Have you loaded the right DVD drivers?)
