Recently I purchased new system with Hard Drive ST340014A
having 40020 MB capacity (as shown by IDEUtil) with NTFS
format and Windows XP Home Addition; however 'properties'
on Hard drive C says only 7.95 GB.

How do I fix?

Is they a max that XP will work with (ie need to
partition drive)?

Thanks.

You have not reached a MAX XP cannot handle.. Not even close.

Sounds more like you reached a max your BIOS could handle or you partitioned
the drive that way or something.

What does your system BIOS tell you that you have?

What are your system specs?
Processor speed? Ram? Computer Model? Chip?
