my sis has disc boot failer insert system disk and press enter what do i do
as i don,t have motherboard disk this message is in a big red box on the
screen

1. Make sure there is no floppy in the drive (if she has one). If there
was one, take it out and reboot.

2. Test the hard drive with a diagnostic utility downloaded from the
drive mftr.'s website. Create a bootable cd or floppy, boot the
affected computer with it, and do a thorough test. If the drive fails,
replace it.

3. If this isn't your cup of tea - and there is no shame in admitting
that it isn't - take the machine to a professional computer repair shop
(not your local version of BigStoreUSA).
