In order to make a clean installation of win. xp home I
deleted the system primary partition and made another one.

All went well until I found out that my disk is mow
devided to three:
1.The system part.(15 Go)
2.Another primary part.of 15 gyga
3.The rest (about 120 gyga)

I think the second part was left from the old system
although it is empty.
The problem is it is unreachable and I find no way to
delete it or name it or use it.

Thanks a lot.

use disk management

To manage a partitioned disk you will need third party products asuch as
Partition Magic.

It isn't possible to modify the size or numbers of partitions after windows
is installed or during the installation process.

This is only half corrrect. You cannot modify the size
of a partition after Windows is installed but you can
easily add or remove partitions, using the Disk Management
snap-in.
