I have the administrator's rights but the C: and D: cannot be accessed form
My Computer < C:. However, C: folder can be opened from the Folders tab.

How to solve the problem? Registry changes? Windows Media Player?

WinLogo+E (or, Start button, Computer), right click the drive,
Properties, Security, Advanced, Permissions - locate the
Administrators group and make sure that you have Full Control. Then,
select the 'Owner' tab and take ownership if necessary.

Q. Was this an upgrade to Vista, or did you buy your computer with
Vista preloaded? Just curious as to how this may have happened.
