Hard disk access application

Does anyone know of an app that's available that will show you which
processes are hogging hard disk read and write access? So many times my hard
disk is just churning away and I haven't a clue why, and the taskmanager
doesn't help as this typically isn't linked to processor usage.

Task Manager, has a tab that shows running processess. Whilst this will give
the file names, you may have to search yr sys to identify the file name with
the app.

Hi nil spam,

In Task manager in View > Select Columns, enable the columns I/O
Reads, I/O writes. You'll find which processes are writing to disk.
