When I open Windows 2000, the screen shows message, pu
"Click F1 or F2" when I click F1, it shows that
I have to reset the time and date.

How do I get beyond this without going thru F1 Each
Time/
 
Is this the boot screen managed by the BIOS, white characters on a black
background? If the CMOS battery or "watch battery" on your mobo is dead, it
will not maintain this information. Have someone familiar with your
motherboard replace this battery.
