hanging internet

I have windows XP and when I enter the internet I cant
exit without the program hanging. It wil not close with
the standard features. I hve to hit Alt Control Delete
and the hit end task to get out of the program. There has
to be a fix, any ideas?

i had same problem.....i shutdown x restart...fixed.
happens about once week.
