What's the best way to take recordings from a handycam
(Sony DCR-PC100E) for storage/editing/whatever on a PC
running XP(Home)?

Any special hard/software required....?
 
Ieee1394 cable and port on the pc. Also known as i-link and firewire. XP has
movie maker installed so you cna use this for editing.
