Halo multiplayer

I can't use multiplayer unless i sign on to AOL. if i try to load it up
without signing on it won't connect to the internet. HELP!

Hi Johnstone,

What you described is normal.
You need to connect to the internet to play games online.

Yeah i know that but it won't let me connect without aol, how do i connect
without aol being on(Internet Explorer won't work on my xp)

Do you lose your AOL connection when you close your
AOL browser? If so, just minimize it and ask their tech
support if there's a connection manager you can install to
connect to AOL without loading their browser.

if you are using dial-up:
Not even worth playing.
if you are using broadband:
are you using an internal DSL modem? There is a way to
make it dial out without using AOL, i am just not sure how

If not an internal DSL modem, then you should be able to
run the Network Setup Wizard to make the connection
bypassing AOL. Or I can be totally full of it.
